Let me take these stones back.
I will put them in my mouth,
and tasting the saltiness of your hands,
will swallow them.

There are five stones: black, gray, ochre,
brown, and white. In anger
I broke your tower windows.
I regret my aim was so true.

I will replace the panes of glass,
and I will carry the burden of stones.
If I could drink your tears I would,
make a rip in time and go on back.
